About the role
Reporting to the Bid Director, you will be a member of the Project Leadership Team, on this significant infrastructure project.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing tactical asset management solutions within the client's wider strategic asset management and asset management frameworks. As a results-driven experienced asset management professional, you will be responsible for delivering solutions with measurable financial and non-financial outcomes.
What you’ll be doing:
Create and support a culture of “Safety & Health above all else”
Develop asset strategies for the optimisation of capitalised maintenance vs planned and corrective maintenance expenditure
Develop tactical asset management plans interesting and diverse road network assets
Prepare forward works strategies and life cycle cost plans
Provide guidance on asset management system establishment in line with ISO55001
Establish a digital engineering and asset management workflow across asset lifecycle
Managing and developing a team of engineers
Develop decision support tools and deterioration models for the network assets
What you will need:
Tertiary qualified in Civil Engineering (Masters or Post Graduate Qualification preferred)
Experience in a similar role within roads and network management or infrastructure maintenance project
Experience with decision support tools and to develop time-value models
Demonstrated expertise in approaches to pavement and structural deterioration modelling
Record of contributing to successful bids in an O&M environment is desirable
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
Strong knowledge and practical experience with ISO55001
