The Cleaning Supervisor is an integral part of our soft services team and is responsible for processing work requests, schedules and allocation of work to appropriate resources, as well as supervising, training and performance management of all cleaning personnel, ensuring that areas of responsibilities are well maintained, clean and tidy.
What you’ll be doing:
Overseeing the delivery of soft services for the SEQ Schools PPP contract at a school on the north side of Brisbane
Working closely with the Facilities Manager to ensure the delivery of all soft services
Induct and supervise all cleaning personnel
Manage casual cleaning contractor workload and allocation of resources as required
Coordinate and schedule tasks and appropriate resources accordingly
Ensure works are delivered safely, on time and to required cleaning standards
Proactively contribute and participate in tactical meetings with the Soft Services Team
Establish strong, cooperative working relationships with peers, colleagues and the client to increase overall support
Continuously seek to improve processes to increase overall productivity and service delivery standards
What you’ll need
Previous experience as a Cleaning Leader/Supervisor
Extensive experience in working with a diverse workforce
Good presentation, superior verbal and written communication skills
Strong understanding of commercial cleaning and QLD OHS Legislation
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and under pressure
Willingness and ability to work an early morning shift and a late afternoon shift Mon-Fri
Proven leadership and interpersonal skills and the ability to train, coach and develop staff, and knowledge and understanding of work planning and scheduling practices and procedures
Proven ability to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships at senior levels
Excellent computer literacy and word processing
Current motor vehicle license
Blue Card or able to obtain such clearance
