Fleet Engineer – Group Plant you will provide high level professional capability to Ventia Group Plant. This is a key role to make sure we meet operational requirements, improve performance and ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations and requirements for fleet, plant and equipment across the business.
What you’ll be doing:
Provide fleet related engineering, guidance and problem-solving skills
Provide technical input and evaluation of fleet programs and designs
Be a subject matter expert in relation to fleet standards, design, specification, maintenance and use
Develop technical specifications for fleet, plant & equipment
Build and maintain productive internal and external relationships, engage stakeholders and enabling the delivery of business objectives.
Analyse processes and systems to identify improvement and savings opportunities and develop these opportunities into sound business practices
Manage development of systems to enable members of the Plant team to be fully effective in day to day operations
Implement and coordinate change inclusive of coordinating user acceptance testing, conducting user training and documentation of new/revised processes
Facilitate the review of business processes to identify and implement standard processes where beneficial – including transfer to BAU function
Work closely with business process owners, custodians and subject matter experts, and the business (operations), to identify, analyse, document and optimise core business processes and workflows.
What you’ll need:
To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated understanding of Fleet, Assets and Asset Management principles. In addition to this you will have strong experience building and maintaining productive internal and external relationships, engaging stakeholders and enabling the delivery of business objectives.
The following attributes will be highly regarded:
Tertiary education in Engineering
Mechanical trade qualification
Advanced technical skills with respect to the use of Microsoft Excel
Microsoft suite of applications including Word, PowerPoint & Outlook
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft 365 Apps & SharePoint are desirable
Demonstrated experience in working to deadlines and reporting requirements
