About the role
Ventia has partnered with leading QLD energy providers Ergon Energy and Energex to provide distribution, maintenance and construction services in regional QLD. We are seeking an experienced and qualified Project Manager Electrical to oversee the electrical distribution network in Townsville.
What you’ll be doing:
Actively promote and embed our ‘HSE Culture’ into the business everyday Operations to achieve ‘everyone safe everyday’.
Ensure projects are delivered utilising established work practices and procedures with safety at the forefront of decision making.
Ensure projects are delivered to client timeframes and within budget
Control potential environmental impacts and comply with legislative responsibilities.
Ensure statutory obligations are met in relation to major projects.
Experience in procurement processes and practices
What you will need:
Substantial experience in an Electrical Distribution Network environment
Desirable Project Management skills with an ability to monitor & control multiple projects
Current Ergon Energy Authorisations desirable
Ability to lead your team to provide outstanding customer service, safely and productively
Current QLD Electrical work licence will be well regarded
Ability to travel for projects and key jobs
