The Ventia Boral Amey Joint Venture (VBAJV) is a partnership between three leading organisations which combines internationally recognised asset management expertise with local knowledge and experience to offer world class solutions to their customers. Under the Stewardship Maintenance Contract (SMC), VBA JV are responsible for managing and maintaining the Road Assets on behalf of Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) in the South Sydney area.
About the role
We are looking for a passionate, and customer centric administrator to join the team on a permanent basis as an Operational Control Centre Coordinator. The role is responsible for managing the day to day planning and coordination of our operational teams to support the effective and efficient management of resources.
As the OCC Coordinator you will be working in a fast paced working environment, requiring you to be adaptable and able to manage many tasks at once, while working with a high degree of autonomy. As a key member of our team you will have exceptional customer service skills as you will be working closely with our operations teams in the allocation and management of the highway assets for RMS.
Further key responsibilities include:
Manage the daily activities of work crews/ operational resource against programme, in line with agreed timescales and in accordance with SLAs and commercial contract
Co-ordination with supervisors in the event of on-site issues
Review suspended and rejected jobs on Works Management system
Review of completed jobs for quality and accuracy of data, including details of labour, plant, materials and photos.
Produce Daily and weekly report of gang activity and performance data
Maximise the productivity of the resources through reduction in wasted time, materials and operational costs
As a successful applicant you would have the following abilities:
General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
Basic programming of work
Competent in Microsoft Office
Competent in general computer use
Reasonable spatial awareness and are comfortable using online maps
Effective Communication and interpersonal skills
