About the role
This role reports to the WA Plant Manager and you will need to be able to provide proactive assistance with the management of assets across a dispersed geographic location. You will have the ability to plan to meet business requirements to ensure there are no critical issues or shortages at the best cost and effectiveness for the business units you will be supporting.
You’ll be responsible for several key activities including:
Process Plant Maintenance Work Order & Purchase Order and copy of PO to supplier
Ensure external supplier invoices are processed daily to support prompt supplier payments
Ensure that Accident Damage Reporting – are completed promptly and costed correctly
Assist operations with insurance claims and claim progression
Be the point of contact for queries on fuel cards, tolls and other administrative tasks
Ensure that timely information is compiled and reported to the Plant Group
All communication with internal customer must clear and support documented processes.
Training & ongoing support to end users of Vehicle tracking systems
3+ years’ experience in a similar asset role
JD Edwards experience and knowledge (preferred)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to demonstrate initiative and be willing to act to address needs
Possess strong organisational skills and the ability to identify and set priorities, plan and effectively allocate appropriate resources
