About the role
We're seeking an Senior Electrical Estimator in a permanent role to join our Engineering team based in Burwood, Victoria. This role will be focusing on strong Infrastructure Services and civil construction industry knowledge with a focus on Transmission and Distribution, Power and Gas.
What you’ll be doing:
Promoting the participation of all people in achieving a safe workplace
Develop accurate, well-structured estimates using first principle cost estimates
Actively participate in solution development and costing of alternatives
Prepare subcontractor packs and procure pricing from suppliers
Ensure timely completion of deliverables and client returnable schedules
Prepare support analysis
What you will need:
Proven track record in developing estimates for successful complex tenders of $100m+ value, preferably in the power industry
Technical experience in relevant construction / services industry
Proven ability to multi-task on multiple simultaneous projects
Ability to assess client tenders from a technical and commercial aspect
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Economics, Quantity Surveying or similar
. In addition, to having Project Management qualifications.
