Visionstream is seeking an experienced Quality & Training Coordinator to join its NBN Field Services team. Reporting to the Program Office Manager, you will be responsible for undertaking the auditing, training and on-boarding needs of the Field Services team in relation to internal staff and subcontractors. Duties will also include:
Undertaking quality assurance audits of in progress and completed work;
Provide coaching and training where required to site personnel on contractual product quality requirements;
Prepare regular reports to management of product quality, product conformance trends and effectiveness of remedial action;
Perform Verification of Competencies and Practical Assessments on internal staff and subcontractors;
Regular travel to different locations will be required.
You will hold a
Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment along with a Certificate 3 in Telecommunications; Must possess
strong technical abilities in the copper and fibre space and have experience in delivering training in lay person methods; Experience in maintaining our information systems and ensure accurate records are kept;
The role will require site attendance, getting in and out of pits and manholes, therefore you will have to be fully conversant with the Visionstream HSE Culture Framework, ensuring the team has a strong safety culture by ensuring corporate work safe processes and procedures are in place for high risk activities and also apply them yourself;
Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, statutory obligations and Visionstream policies;
Act honestly and with integrity at all times;
Insights to technology adoption and benefits;
Strong customer empathy and communications skills;
Demonstrated work experience on the NBN network highly desirable.
