About the role

A Delivery Team Leader’s primary role is to manage and oversee a specific area of the Sydney Water Contract with a strong focus on safety and compliance. An Delivery Team Leader must work towards creating and maintaining an environment that fosters a collaborative, open and strong working relationship with our employees and customer alike.

This involves leading, organising and providing clear direction to employees in a manner that allows Ventia the capability and flexibility to be innovative, solutions focused deliver contract KPI’s with high level of customer service. Consistency and strong leadership across all key business areas including people management; operations, SHEQ and Administration is essential to not only the success of the role but the service delivery function as is active participation and qualitative contributions towards a positive team environment that promotes a family first focus at all times.

About you

As an experienced Delivery Team Leader you will  strive in this role, working with a close knit team in Potts Hill. 

  • Tertiary qualifications in a related field desirable.
  • Business, Engineering, Trade Specialist, Management
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Staff and wages employee management
  • Cost control
  • Community/public liaison
  • Manage consultants, subcontractors
  • Work to deadlines
  • Manage work hours
  • Manage travel
  • Manage diversity – work/people
  • Manage client expectations and deliverables

Must have

  • Cert IV – Training & Assessment - Mandatory
  • Incident investigation qualification eg ICAM - Ideal
  • Return to Work Coordinator Certificate – Ideal
  • Cert IV Workplace Health & Safety – Mandatory
  • Trade background, Engineering background - Mandatory
