About the role
We’re currently seeking for an experienced
HVAC Technician to deliver maintenance services to Auckland City Council project based at our WHA depot.
You’ll be responsible for several key activities including:
Completing allocated planned maintenance activities (air conditioning and pre-summer)
Proactively looking for potential sources of refrigerant gas leaks to reduce refrigerant usage
Ensuring ad hoc duties are completed as instructed by Mechanical Supervisor /Hard FM Manager
Aligning work procedures with business energy saving targets.
Maintaining and updating asset registers as requested by Ventia
You will have:
Minimum 3 years’ post trade experience in a Commercial / industrial environment
Previous experience working in a building maintenance position involving large volumes of assets and programmed servicing schedules
NZ Register Level 4 qualification (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)
A manual driver’s licence will be required for this role
Site Safe Passport or equivalent (preferred)
CPR – First Aid Training - Current first aid certificate (preferred)
Additional qualifications an advantage in PLC controls, motor controls or BMS systems knowledge.
