The Project 

Ventia is one of the largest providers of road network, motorway and tunnel operations and maintenance services in Australasia.  Our integrated transport services support our clients with reliable and safe journey management, meaning safety and efficiency for the driving public.  This is an exciting opportunity to join our team if you’re someone with skills in incident response and motorway/tunnel maintenance.  The roles are based in north-west Sydney. 

The role 

• General labour duties including heavy / physical manual work, various landscaping activates and other maintenance duties as required 
• Assist a broad range of trades persons across all areas of the project team 
• Contributing to a culture of 'Safety and Health above all else' by ensuring that safe work practices are observed at all times by yourself, fellow maintenance team members and subcontractors 
• Demonstrating on a daily basis personal behaviour that uphold Ventia values 

• Hold a current drivers licence & white card 
• Demonstrated experience in general Labourer positions 
• Possess the ability to deliver work under a wide-ranging workload and handle multiple tasks simultaneously 
• An ability to work without supervision and to work effectively with both internal as well as external stakeholders 
• An understanding and commitment to WHS, risk management and hazard identification 
• Possession of a Heavy Rigid (Truck) Licence is highly desirable, but not essential
