About the Roles
We are seeking a Project Engineer (Civil & Remediation Earthworks) based at Fiskville.
With almost 30 years' experience, Ventia's environmental remediation team provides its clients with a 'safe pair of hands', successfully delivering highly complex remediation projects through extensive engagement and use of world best practice technologies. Ventia is seeking Project Engineers and Senior Project Engineers to support its growing business in Melbourne’s Western region.
Key Responsibilities of Roles
To plan and co-ordinate the project to deliver a product which meets the required standards, is delivered on time and meets budgetary requirements while satisfying the needs of the client and the company.
Organise and provide direction for employees to ensure outstanding performance is achieved in people performance, SHEQ outcomes and overall business results.
Actively contribute to a positive teamwork environment.
Communicate openly and honestly.
Essential Skills & Experience
Safety Leadership, Planning & Organising, Leadership, Risk Management, Conflict Resolution, Negotiation Skills, Time Management, Information Monitoring, Problem Solving, Relationship Building, Knowledge Sharing, Delegation, Communication, Cost Tracking and Control, Quality Assurance and Teamwork.
Understanding of the business, quality assurance standards, current industrial relations practices, financial concepts, industry best practice and standards.
Civil earthworks, contaminated land management or landfill construction experience is highly desirable Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience.
